TTN Network covers a wide area of Southern Mpumalanga (which includes Piet Retief (Mkhondo), Northern KwaZulu Natal and Pixley.
Our Network is comprised of two Divisions:
'To gain knowledge is to gain life'
Thol'ulwazi Thol'impilo HIV & AIDS Education
Initially the Network started with HIV and Aids education, and then the establishment of a strong Mobile Clinic operation. We currently have six Mobile clinics which visit over 220 sites per month, and record in excess of 60,000 patient visits per year.
This division is strongly linked to the Department of Health who supply the nursing staff as well as medication. With the support of 'Peer Educators' (Community members), TTN has a link between the Mobile Clinics and the Community. The Peer Educators convey important information to the Communities, and encourage them to be tested for HIV/AIDS and to visit the clinics to receive their medication.
This rapidly growing Division is based on ‘disciple making’ and linked to the DMM (Disciple Making Movement) which is a worldwide network.
The Missions team have focused on the extreme rural villages using the foundation of the DBS (Discovery Bible Study). This approach allows rural, traditional people to ‘discover’ God for themselves, while at the same time being supported to begin a process of upliftment and self-sustainability.
The DBS also allows us to introduce our 'Access Ministries' to the Communities, whereby we train Communities to become self-sustaining and alleviate poverty through:
